Director's Message

I would like to extend a warm welcome to Kuwait University faculty members, students, staff and visitors. KU libraries are here to provide our users with outstanding resources and services to support the academic and research goals.

Libraries are committed to creating a welcoming, well-equipped and inclusive learning environment for our patrons in the nine libraries on different campus. Our wide range of services include research consultations with librarians, electronic catalog, interlibrary loan for faculties and graduates, ask a librarian, photocopying, study rooms, printing and many other services.

KU libraries provide tutorials, orientations and workshops regularly every semester and upon request from faculty members to teach students how to identify, search and evaluate information resources effectively.

The KU libraries’ collections selected by specialists to meet the academic and research needs of university’s disciplines and research areas.

A cooperation agreement signed with both Kuwait National Library and Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research in various related fields.

 KU libraries users can view latest updates, activities, events through the website and social media.
